At Biky, we are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use our mobile application.
Biky is a bike maintenance tracking application designed with a "local-first" approach. Most of the data you create and manage within the app stays on your device. We do not require user registration or account creation to use the core features of the app.
The primary purpose of Biky is to help you track bike maintenance, components, and rides. This information—including bike details, component wear, maintenance history, and ride logs—is stored locally on your device using Android's internal storage (Room Database and DataStore).
You have full control over this data. We do not access, see, or transmit your personal bike or ride data to our servers.
We use third-party services, such as Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics, to monitor app performance and identify bugs.
Biky allows you to back up your data to your Google Account (via Google Drive).

Since most data is stored locally, deleting the Biky app from your device will remove all local bike and maintenance data. If you have performed a cloud backup to Google Drive, you must manually delete those files from your Google Drive account.
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data on your device. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure. While we prioritize local storage to minimize risk, please be aware that the security of your data also depends on the security of your physical device and your Google Account.
Biky is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children.
